| Bring your horse on holiday to an area that
is one of the best kept secrets in East Anglia.
White House Farm is within The Broads National Park and backs
onto the huge expanse of the Hardley and Langley Marshes through
which meanders the River Yare. The sight of horses grazing
is within the backdrop of beautiful Norfolk skies and amazing
wildlife. It is not uncommon in the summer evening to look
out and watch the Barn owl scouring the marsh only a matter
of metres away.
The combination of ultra quiet roads in Hardley (Basically
because they are dead ends to the marshes) and off road tracks
makes it the ideal place for exploring on horseback. For the
more adventurous who also want speed we have our own stretch
of gallops. School horses are available for hire (Subject
to competence) to accompany your own, making riding with family
and friends even more possible.
There is also a schooling area on site for your use and we
offer qualified teaching staff if you would like lessons.
Children can be booked for tuition, fun and stable days freeing
parents up some time for activities of their choice.
There is much to explore in the local area ranging from Saxon
and Norman Churches as well as the broads. The local small
town of Loddon is the only South Norfolk development with
direct access to the Broads. Day hire boats are available
from Loddon and over the Suffolk Border in the nearby market
town of Beccles. Loddon also offers a range of Pubs and Inns
as well as Fish and Chips, Kebab and Chinese takeaway and
a very high quality Bangladeshi restaurant.
The area also offers superb walks and the National Cycle route
passes through Langley and Loddon.
Further to this if you wish for more than our rural setting
and activities you are within twenty five minutes of the coast
which includes the larger resort and port of Lowestoft with
its award winning beach and the smaller and unspoilt Seaside
town of Southwold. Alternatively the fine City of Norwich
is 25 mins drive in the other direction.
